Opportunity Summary 

Position Description

The person holding this position will help plan, execute, and measure the outcomes resulting from communications with key constituencies which include:

  • * Community Choice Aggregators (CCAs) - existing or planned
  • * Commercial entities that serve CCAs and especially those our organization has relationships
  • * Elected officials that support or track CCA activities and success
  • * Other non-profits with which our organization has or should have collaborative relationships
  • * Members of the general public who are passionate about the success of CCAs in their area
  • * Members of the press when publicity is required - as for our upcoming 2020 Virtual Symposium
  • * Those who manage social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn * Individuals who communicate with us via social media channels

This person will work closely with members of our organization who will serve as mentors and guides. The goal is successful growth of our organization through creation of meaningful value through the delivery of programs our constituents care about and are willing to support financially. Our overall goal is supporting the development of electrical infrastructures and delivery models that will enable significant decarbonization, be safer than existing power delivery models, and ultimately provide greater value to users through more rational pricing models.

The person(s) in this position will:

  • * Gain experience in communications and social media management that will enhance resume development and future employment opportunities
  • * Develop an understanding of the importance and challenges of CCA programs which are focused on developing new forms of electric power generation, management, and value creation.
  • * Gain practical experience identifying, reaching, motivating, and serving organizations and individuals which which our organization has or should have relationships

Desired Qualifications

Ideal candidates would be majors in communications, marketing, English or sales. Excellent writing and verbal communications a must. Good research skills also required.
