Position Description
As a volunteer for our College Volunteer Leader Program, you will serve as a Girl Scout leader for girls who do not have access to a Girl Scout experience. You will be assigned to a team or you can form your own team. Together, you will lead a troop of girls as they earn badges in STEM, Outdoor, Entrepreneurship, and Life skills. We have additional one time opportunities that vary from semester to semester.

Fall 2026:
As a volunteer for our College Volunteer Leader Program, you will serve as a Girl Scout leader for girls who do not have access to a Girl Scout experience. Girl Scouts are more likely to develop a strong sense of self, display positive values, seek challenges, form healthy relationships, and be community problem solvers. The College Volunteer Leader Program makes it possible for all girls to have the opportunity to enjoy the Girl Scout leadership experience and enjoy these positive outcomes.

For Fall 2026 we are offering in person meetings at:
La Mirada Academy (Wednesdays 1:30 – 3:30pm)
Rock Springs Elementary (Thursdays 12:00 – 2:00 pm)
San Marcos Elementary (Thursdays 3:00 – 5:00pm)
An additional opportunity includes working with girls at our
Fall Camporee @ Fiesta Island Youth Aquatic Camp to be
held October 2-4
