Opportunity Summary 

Position Description (e.g. tasks, projects, assignments)

Observe and learn cutting edge personal training, strength and conditioning, and sports performance coaching
Observe and learn state of the art massage therapy and bodywork techniques
Observe and learn the mind body principles of Pilates and yoga
Meet with Fitness Quest 10 staff members and learn about our business systems, culture, marketing, and training philosophy
Assist with group fitness classes and camps
Assist with corporate fitness and marketing events
Assist with boot camp classes
Learn the business aspects of running a fitness facility
Learn from a world-class team of trainers and therapists

Learning Objectives and Outcomes

Learn to program effective programs for varied populations
Learn to interact effectively with a variety of clientele
Learn how to run a full-service fitness facility
Learn the value of a positive, uplifting community

Desired Qualifications

Preferred but not required qualifications include: personal training experience or certifications, CPR certification, AED certification, first aid certification.
Successful applicants will also typically be extroverted, positive, high-energy individuals that live and breathe a commitment to healthy living.

Number of positions available 3-5

Length of position (Note: A semester is 16 weeks long.) 8 weeks (12 weeks in the summer)

Hours per week 20 hours (40 hours in the summer)
