Opportunity Summary 

Position Description (e.g. tasks, projects, assignments)
In this position the intern will have a working knowledge of social media and the tools to be used (Canva, Contact in Bio, Sprout Social, editorial calendars, content creation, closed captioning, copy writing) in order to facility the running of our Instagram profile for First Alarm Wellness. We are looking for someone specifically with a strong knowledge of Canvas and using the content we have to make it look polished on social media.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes
By the end of the first month, create a social media plan for the organization
By the end of the first month you will be able to identify elements of being a community manager, including metrics, social tools, and evaluating effectiveness.
By the end of the second month, describe individual, behavioral, and social factors positively influencing social media reach.
By the end of the semester you will be able to model best practices for social media
By the end of the second month you will be able to explain how social media influences behaviors.

Desired Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of Canva
Strong understanding of social media/ Instagram
Interest in mental health/ first responder communities helpful
