Opportunity Summary 

Position Description (e.g. tasks, projects, assignments)
MACSD's Video Production Interns assist in digital storytelling and media arts related projects in connection with Media Arts Center San Diego's annual San Diego Latino Film Festival, Youth Media Education Programs, Digital Gym CINEMA Movie Theater, and Community-Based Media Projects. Tasks include: video editing, pre-production/story development, production (i.e. interviewing, camera work, lighting), post-production and distribution

Learning Objectives and Outcomes
Interns will gain new video production skills working on real-world events and projects associated with our non-profit organization. Under the supervision of experienced filmmakers, teaching artists, and non profit staff, interns will improve pre production, production, post production, & distribution skills.

Desired Qualifications
Adobe Premiere. Experience with DSLR cameras. Experience on production shoots as a crew member. Experience with lighting and sound on set.
