Opportunity Summary 

The Boys and Girls Club of Vista is looking for students who are able to assist staff with brainstorming: games, activities, and icebreakers, or lesson plan topics that they have knowledge about either pertaining to their major or a specific area of interest.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

how to properly plan an activity/game/icebreaker for a group of 10-20 Club members ranging in age from K-8th grade or how to prepare a lesson plan for a volunteer to conduct in-person for 10-20 kids that lasts 45 minutes to an hour on a topic of their choosing.

Opportunity Training 

Students will use skills that have been learned in their courses to complete this volunteer opportunity.
