Opportunity Summary

The Boys & Girls Club of Vista is looking to put together a special volunteer group to help show donors' appreciation. As a member of our group, Operation Appreciation, tasks may include:

  • Monthly Meetings

    • Important to gather materials as needed for tasks

    • A doodle poll will be conducted for interested Volunteers to figure out the best day/time to meet each month.

  • Support with donor thank you phone calls

    • Scripts will be provided

  • Support with writing personalized thank you notes for donors

    • Scripts and all material will be provided

  • Input on new ways to show appreciation to donors, volunteers, staff, and our community

  • Support with helping conduct activities with Club members to send to donors (crafts, cards, etc.)

Being that this is a new venture for the Boys & Girls Club of Vista, volunteers can communicate what they feel most comfortable supporting, there is no pressure to do everything on the above list. It is expected that this team will take 3-4 hours of time each month working on their designated task(s), but since it is a brand-new group, it could be much less.

If you are interested in assisting with Operation Appreciation, please e-mail sierra@bgcvista.com for next steps.
