Physical therapy aides provide assistance to physical therapists in greeting patients, getting them started with modalities, instructing them through exercises, and creating an overall enjoyable experience for our patients.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Appropriate cueing for therapeutic exercises, how to work in a team environment, about various musculoskeletal, cardiac, and neurological diagnoses.
Opportunity Training
2 weeks of training at the beginning of the internship and ongoing training regarding various exercises and modalities.
