Front Desk Service LearningAt — Operation HOPE-North County

Opportunity Summary 

Our front desk intern/service learning volunteers will assist in daily operations of the shelter, including checking in clients, answering phone calls, data entry, and other duties as assigned. This opportunity also has the ability to work with the kids on an as needed basis.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

This opportunity will allow students to learn more about the daily operations of a non profit, with a focus in administration and operations.

Opportunity Training 

All Interns and service learning volunteers will receive a tour of the shelter, complete an orientation, receive hands on training in their respective areas.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

All staff, board of directors, volunteers and interns are required to sign in when arriving, have their temperature taken, wash hands upon arrival, and wear an approved mask at all times and follow any COVID-19 health and safety guidelines to include any vaccination requirements.
