Opportunity Summary 

The USARC works with both children and adults with disabilities. We have a summer program (July and August) that includes adaptive waterskiing, kayak, SUP, fishing, and camping. Our winter program runs between December and March and offers adaptive snow skiing at Bear Mountain Resort in BIg Bear Lake, CA.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

-how to engage with people with disabilities -how to teach the various opportunities to those with disabilities -how to work as a team with staff and other volunteers to make magic happen -watch lives changed

Opportunity Training 

Training is conducted at the beginning of each season. If they miss the training, we can do on the job training and the student can observe for a day. The winter training is 3 days on the snow. Skiing skills are not required but are recommended. Summer, no skills requires, just a smile.
