Opportunity Summary 

Help international students develop conversational English, cultural adaptation, and campus integration through one-on-one meetings, while learning about diverse languages and cultures through this exchange. Participants are expected to commit to 15 hours of service learning (including a 1-hour orientation) unless their instructors made a different arrangement with ALCI.

Opportunity Training 

Candidates who are selected for this program will attend a one hour orientation session prior to engaging in one-on-one activities with their conversation partners.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Student arrange their own weekly meeting with their international student partner on campus. When planning off-campus activities, notify your site supervisor 7-days in advance for notice and approval.
