Opportunity Summary 

Student will assist with high school students enrolled in special education classes, specifically with the eligibility of speech-language delay. Student will also participate in community based learning opportunities with the moderate-severely disabled population.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Goals would be: Learn how to engage with student with a variety of learning disabilities. Understand how speech therapy works in the high school setting. To attend an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meeting with supervisor.

Opportunity Training 

Direct one on one training with SLP (Speech Language Pathologist), as well as, time spent working directly with the Life Skills teachers (Mod-Severe teachers).

Opportunity Application Instructions
