Opportunity Summary
As a physical therapy volunteer you will see what a day in the life of a physical therapist looks like. You will learn the general terminology and exercises that patients perform to address certain ailments. At Longevity, we specialize in Applied Functional Science (AFS) as our treatment approach and you will learn the basics of AFS as part of your volunteering.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Foundation of stretches and exercises that patients perform to improve mobility and strength for a return to functional activities and sports performance.
Opportunity Training
Students will be provided with handouts to learn the fundamental exercises and provided with demonstrations on how to perform them.
Opportunity Application Instructions
A short in person interview will be completed prior to accepting new students for this opportunity.
