Performance Coach InternAt — Activ8 LLC

Opportunity Summary 

You will have an opportunity to work in a dynamic integrated model of sports performance, adult group training, and team training. You will be heavily involved with our sports performance athletes of all levels including: middle and high school, collegiate and professional. You will also have the opportunity to use state of the art technology (Perch, Catapult, Keiser, VALD timing gates and jump mat) to assess athletic performance and guide athletes training and programming. Our ideal coach is excited to learn our systems, work hard, and grow with our team. We value people that are passionate about human performance and driven to continue learning and growing as an individual. We’re looking for a coach that is outgoing, friendly, reliable, and competent at coaching, programming, and running training sessions.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Our Interns go through a 10-Week curriculum that will give them a foundation to assess, train, and improve athletic performance. Covering research topics, practical sessions, and discussions on each weekly topic. Such as, hypertrophy, strength development, acceleration mechanics, and others.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Candidates applying for this position must be active and be able to carry a load unassisted of 50 pounds The physical requirements of this job require frequent walking, demonstrating, and assisting with exercise movements; bending, stretching, lifting, pushing, pulling and squatting are movements performed daily
