Opportunity Summary 

Are you passionate about giving back to your community and making a difference in the lives of middle school students? Our school is looking for dedicated volunteers to coach and mentor students, assist with tutoring, support lunchtime activities, help after-school clubs, tend to the school garden, assist teachers, work in the school office, and support the wellness center. Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will have the opportunity to explore their interests and passions, develop new hobbies, and build professional connections while positively impacting young minds.

Opportunity Training 

Students will be given a handbook with school demographic information and a select a support focus area. Students will also receive a 1 day orientation and 1 day of shadowing with a supervisor.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

All district safety policies and procedures will be followed. These will be provided during orientation.

Opportunity Application Instructions 

Students will be required to present their state issued ID upon arrival. Students will be RAPTOR'd in during every school visit. Raptor is a visitor management system that enhances school security by reading a visitor's state-issued ID, comparing information against a sex offender database to alert school administrators.
