Mentor for Latina teens in Middle or High School in CarlsbadAt — MANA de North County San Diego
We need students to mentor Latina teen girls in the schools in Carlsbad; the middle schoolers meet after school once a week and the high schoolers meet during lunch once a week. The student can choose to work at one school or two. No preparation is needed to assist with the lessons. This is an excellent opportunity for students going into a career working with the community. The student doesn't need to be bilingual, but being bicultural is needed and identifying as a Latina.

An orientation will be provided and copies of the lessons for the girls
These schools are safe -- the cohorts are only girls -- no problems
