Climate HeroAt — North County Climate Change Alliance
Working with the North County Climate Change Alliance will give you the opportunity to learn more about the climate crisis, its causes consequences, and most importantly possible solutions. Our student volunteers have been able to meet and interact with climatologists, environmentalists, civic leaders, and others in the community working on this very important issue. Engaging and educating the public as well as elected officials are also options.
By the end of this opportunity, students will have learned more about environmental issues both locally and worldwide. They will have the opportunity to increase their writing and oral communication skills also.
The students will be given detailed instructions.
A resume would be helpful but not required. An interview is required.
