PT InternAt — All Star Physical Therapy, Vista
Student will aide PT in therapeutic exercises, therapeutic activities, Neuromuscular re education, modalities, Home Exercise Plan creation and delivery. Cleaning treatment tables, checking in and assisting patients.
Students may learn a variety of techniques, background and prescription related to performance of therapeutic exercises, therapeutic activities, Neuromuscular re education, and modalities. Additional knowledge will be gained related to Education regarding Home Exercise Plan creation and delivery. Essentially students will learn the ins and outs of Outpatient Physical Therapy from a Patients first day of evaluation, to their treatments and eventual Discharge to home.
Training in all aspects of the job will be provided prior to performance. Student will get orientation and shadow Lead Aide and PT to gain understanding and knowledge.
Students will be on their feet up to 8 hours but appropriate breaks are provided.
