Advocate for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and BelongingAt — California Center for the Arts, Escondido
Under the supervision of the DEIB Specialist, the DEIB Advocate will support the California Center for the Arts, Escondido in formulating and implementing strategies pertaining to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within organizational policies, programs, services, and community partnerships.
Students will acquire the skills to research, evaluate, and advocate for organizational policies fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. They will develop the ability to assess, strategically plan, and identify areas for improvement in arts programming and services. Additionally, students will gain insights into strategies and initiatives to advance DEIB within community partnerships.
Training will encompass practical, hands-on guidance provided by the organization's DEIB Specialist, DEIB Committee, Education Manager, and other Senior Level Managers. Additionally, participants will engage in online training, orientation sessions, and professional development programs.
