Developmental Specialist At — ABC Interventions Inc
STUDENT ALREADY SELECTED SPRING 2024.
The student will work underneath an assigned supervisor to provide early education services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays. He will assess consumers abilities and create individualized lesson plans and educate parents on proper evidence based strategies to enhance their development.
The student will be able to identify the 6 areas of development in Early Education and create activities pertaining to each area. They will be able to complete assessments using the DAY-C 2 and help create outcomes for Individualized Family Service Plans. They will use coaching and modeling to educate caregivers on EBP and build relationships to improve the abilities of our consumers.
Monthly and weekly in service trainings will take place which will include support on; parent engagement techniques, coaching/modeling, Evidence Based Training strategies, Infant play, etc.
