Campus Recreation / Student AmbassadorAt — CSUSM Campus Recreation
Student Ambassador Volunteers will assist in outreach efforts to CSUSM students to promote the Wellness & Recreation Facility and provide information and education about the referendum campaign. Student Ambassadors will assist current students in learning more about the proposed facility, based on their knowledge of and/or involvement with the project.
Enthusiasm to positively represent CSUSM and share information about the Wellness & Recreation Facility. Knowledge of CSUSM programs, departments, and services Ability to work with diverse groups Organizational and time management skills Excellent communication skills in group settings Dependable, outgoing, and enthusiastic Possess the ability to listen, problem-solve, and react quickly
Department and program specific training will be provided.
Closed toe shoes are expected in active program areas.
This is an unpaid volunteer position open to CSUSM enrolled students. Benefits include networking, leadership and professional development Incentives will include campaign swag and hospitality during trainings and working sessions.
