Opportunity Summary 

As a legal support intern, you will play a crucial role in providing legal support to underserved communities. Your responsibilities will include: - Provide legal assistance while supervised to individuals in need, particularly in the areas of environmental law, civil law, estate law, immigration law, real estate law, juvenile law, business law, non-profit law, cannabis law, and intellectual property law. - Conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing representation as needed. - Collaborating with our team and legal partners to plan and execute events and initiatives aimed at advancing social justice and community empowerment. Requirements: - Pre-law or interest in law school - Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills. - Commitment to serving underserved communities and advancing social justice. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Opportunity Training 

To equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to fulfill their responsibilities effectively, we offer a comprehensive training program tailored to their needs. Here's an overview of the training provided: Onboarding: New students receive orientation on our structure, policies, and resources available. Learning Sessions: Regular workshops cover time management, communication, and tools like Asana and Slack. Meet and Greets: Periodic events allow students to network with faculty and peers, fostering collaboration. Syllabus: Detailed curriculum guides students through their responsibilities and learning objectives. Gantt Charts: Training is provided on creating and using Gantt charts for project planning and tracking. Final Project: Students complete a comprehensive final project with guidance and support. This condensed version still covers the key training aspects provided to students for their responsibilities.
