Clinical Operations InternshipAt — TrueCare
The Clinical Operations Volunteer will gain hands on experience by assisting in various projects within the Clinical Operations Department. Through training, mentorship, and routine interactions, the volunteer will learn new skills, experience the environment of the clinical operations side of a health center, and achieve personal and professional growth.
Interns can: • Assist in developing collateral for clinical staff training and education • Assist with clinical staff training events • Enter data for operational reports • Research to assist with implementation of clinical innovation and technologies • Collaborate with clinical operations team to implement grant funded programs within the community
Training will include: - Learning about programs and resources available to patients - Learning about the systems and reports we use for data collection - Professional skills such as teamwork, multi-tasking, communication, etc. - Meetings with supervisor and/or clinical team to prepare for program implementation or projects
- Student may encounter clinical settings where bodily fluids are stored or where patients are examined - Security are onsite all day - For the safety of staff and patients, students will be required to complete a background check, TB test, and we will collect immunization history.
