Opportunity Summary 

The Community Health Organizer will be responsible for fostering relationships within the community to promote health and wellness initiatives. This role involves planning, coordinating, and implementing programs that address public health concerns and improve access to healthcare resources. The organizer will work closely with local health departments, community organizations, and residents to identify health needs, advocate for resources, and create educational campaigns. Key duties include conducting outreach, organizing events, and facilitating workshops aimed at improving overall community health outcomes.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

This internship will support the individual's ability hone skills in data analysis, research methodology, program planning, community engagement, policy analysis, or health education.

Opportunity Training 

In-service training (approx. 3-4 hours); 2-3 Professional Development training throughout internship (5-8 hours).
