Volunteer with Preschool Children at Discovery IsleAt — Discovery Isle-Ted Williams

Opportunity Summary 

This is an opportunity to volunteer in a real work environment with preschool aged children from various ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will be able to observe and interact with children and apply knowledge from your learnings to this environment. We have a wonderful staff who will be with you every step of your volunteer journey with us and many age groups to observe.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

How to properly interact with children from various cultures and age ranges. How to apply knowledge from their school to real world scenarios. If this age range is right for them. How to get into this field and job opportunities within our company.

Opportunity Training 

Teachers in the classrooms will explain to students how their room runs and allow for volunteers to assist in the lesson plan and day to day room activities. Any other questions about the volunteer opportunity will be answered by a principal.

Opportunity Application Instructions 

All supporting documents to volunteer at our facility will be asked for you to present prior to starting the service learning. The principal will tell you which documents are needed when you email us.
