INTERNSHIP TASKS INCLUDE: HELP DELIVER EXCELLENT PATIENT CARE IN PHYSICAL THERAPY DEPT., ASSIST OFFICE STAFF IN OFFICE TASKS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CHART FILING, MAKING PATIENT CHARTS, APPOINTMENT REMINDER CALLS, ANSWERING PHONES, FILING XRAYS, ETC.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
INTERNS WILL LEARN MULTIPLE ELECTRICAL STIMULATION UNITS, HYDROCULATOR PACKS AND ICE PACKS, MYOFASCIAL TECHNIQUES INCLUDING VIBRATORY MASSAGE AND MANUAL THERAPY, THERAPUETIC EXERCISES, HIPPAA REGULATIONS, INSURANCE BILLING AND BENEFITS, PATIENT PAYMENTS AND COLLECTIONS.
