Observation of speech, language, and literacy treatment of children in elementary and middle school.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Gained knowledge and understanding of how literacy is an important component of the scope of a speech and language pathologist and what aspects are important to assess and treat to support the academic success of a child with language based learning disabilities.

Opportunity Training 

Student will be provided with basic education and training on what a language based learning disability is, how to identify dyslexia, and what treatment from an SLP looks like.
