Opportunity Summary 

Our Hardware (Electrical/Mechanical) Engineering team provides a dynamic summer internship experience in a collaborative environment led by professionals with a wealth of industry experience. At our core, we’re a team that values people, embraces inclusivity, and infuses a touch of fun into our work culture. Project examples include: • Research, development, and implementation of new technologies to improve current systems and products and solve known issues with high impact in current BD products. • ECAD design and support of current and future designs that will reach end-customers with the highest quality and professionalism. • Prototyping and concept bring up to support cross-functional development for new BD products. • Support and coordination of multiple Engineering projects to elevate our team’s skillset and increase product quality.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

• Understanding of electrical engineering concepts and design principles • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment • Familiarized with technical and professional writing • Strong coordination of activities and time management • Effective communication skills with cross-functional teams • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
