KOCT Television Production InternAt — Oceanside Community Service Television Corp
Production Interns will shadow KOCT experience staff and placed in positions that match their career goals and talents. Positions can include camera operators, audio technicians, production assistants, floor directing and more.
Students will have a better understanding of the industry standard and what skills are required for video production. They will get an opportunity to learn and work with professional video production gear and KOCT staff.
Students will have an opportunity to shadow KOCT staff to learn policy and procedures before they are integrated into using and operating gear.
Students will be expected to help carry and set up production gear that ranges in different weight.
Students will need to go to www.koct.org/careers and scroll down to the 'Internship Application' button. They will need to complete and e-mail the form to intern@koct.org. KOCT's Executive Director will schedule and interview with the student and then let them know if they have been accepted. Onboarding will begin at a decided date between the ED and Student.
