Opportunity Summary 

As a Superatio Intern, you’ll play a hands-on role in transforming young lives through our after-school enrichment program that blends pickleball, social-emotional learning, and academic support. You’ll work alongside passionate coaches and mentors to help at-risk youth build confidence, resilience, and a growth mindset—on and off the court. From facilitating interactive activities to supporting daily operations, you’ll gain valuable experience in youth development, education, and nonprofit leadership. This is more than just an internship—it’s a chance to be part of something meaningful and make a lasting impact.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

By the end of their internship with Superatio, students will have developed a robust set of professional, interpersonal, and practical skills that are highly applicable across education, nonprofit, and community-based settings. Interns will gain firsthand experience in implementing trauma-informed practices, supporting youth with diverse backgrounds, and facilitating social-emotional learning (SEL) through engaging, play-based methods like pickleball. They will enhance their communication and classroom management skills by leading small-group activities, managing behavior in positive ways, and building rapport with students, families, and team members. Interns will also develop foundational knowledge in curriculum planning, enrichment programming, and nonprofit operations—including exposure to marketing, community outreach, and data collection for program evaluation. Additionally, they will leave with sharpened leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities, as well as a deeper understanding of how sports and mentorship can serve as powerful tools for resilience and youth empowerment.
