Community ARTS Admin InternAt — A Reason To Survive
We are looking for a Community ARTS Administrative Intern who is able to ensure daily operations run smoothly, provide logistical support, and work directly with youth to advance program goals. This position will assist in serving as a bridge between ARTS Teaching Artists, administrative staff, and youth participating in programs to deepen the quality of ARTS’ programming. The person in this position is passionate about arts education and creative youth development. You can expect to aid in program support, by promoting community-building and healing engagement through meaningful interactions with youth. Aid in the instruction of 12 to 18 year-old students to create individual and collaborative projects. Perform general administration duties during after-school programs, such as maintaining a call log, and reaching out to students regarding absences, announcements, behavioral concerns, etc.

Mandated Reporter Training is required. It is an online self-paced 2 hour training. An orientation will be completed and additional training and guidance will be provided as the intern acclimates to the role and their responsibilities.
