Opportunity Summary 

The intern will work closely with the Faculty Fellow to develop targeted outreach plans and materials, including filming and editing videos, and designing marketing materials (videos, flyers, social media content) to promote faculty research and scholarly activities and CIR events to varied audiences (students, faculty, staff, community members, potential donors).

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

The intern will develop skills in project management, collaboration and communication, community outreach, and promotional materials development. This includes drafting media releases and additional content for on-campus promotional materials, editing videos, helping to write summary reports for campus leadership, and outreach via tabling, flyers, and social media.

Opportunity Training 

The intern will work directly with Faculty Fellow (supervisor) to acquire (campus-provided) access to any necessary software. The Faculty Fellow will provide direct training or will direct the intern to the appropriate resources (on campus) for technical training.
