Opportunity Summary 

Interns will develop counseling skills through individual and group counseling under the supervision of the school counselor. 

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Interns will learn fundamental counseling skills: 1) developing rapport with clients, develop activities for individual and group counseling sessions and 3) develop an understanding of school systems as a function of student support.

Opportunity Training 

Interns will be given a site based procedural training. Interns will be given a mandated reporter training along with school site procedure related to mandated reporting.
