Valuable patient interaction experience with assisting with exercises for physical therapy patients as well as direct mentorship from experienced PTs and PTAs.
Professional communication, implementation of foundational knowledge such as anatomy and physiology, learn a wide array of exercises and why they are used, observe manual therapy techniques and the use of modalities, and learn all aspects of supporting/operating a private practice physical therapy clinic.
Fully supervised training that progress forum observation only to gradually becoming independent with tasks (thought the student intern will always have 100% supervision).
Student will not be asked to participate in anything that would be deemed dangerous or unsafe.
