Patient Retention and Engagement InternshipAt — TrueCare

Opportunity Summary 

The PRE Intern will work with the Patient Retention & Engagement department staff to complete assignments with the goal of learning and implementing patient retention strategies that will improve overall patient satisfaction with TrueCare’s services. Students can expect to shadow staff, assist with outreaching to patients, supporting the Director of PRE with data and research, and participating in clerical work.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will learn: Customer service skills, effective communication, teamwork, time management, and adaptability. Through working with the Director of PRE, students may also observe leadership in action and network to build relationships with healthcare professionals.

Opportunity Training 

Students will receive a 1-hour orientation training about TrueCare policies, procedures, and expectations.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Students will be within a facility that handles biospecimens and works with the community. Students should just be aware of TrueCare health requirements.

Opportunity Application Instructions

Student will then set up a time to speak with the Volunteer Coordinator for a phone screen to determine eligibility and opportunities. if accepted, the onboarding process begins.
