Law Office InternAt — Aguirre & Severson, LLP

Opportunity Summary

We are a small law firm that does big things, handling cases of State and National importance. We are experienced trial lawyers in both civil and criminal matters. We seek justice for all our clients, whether they be individuals, corporations or governments. Many of our cases are featured on the news, serving the public's interest. While we are intense in our work effort, we are light-hearted and have fun in the office, providing an environment that challenges students but provides a safe space to learn and make mistakes without judgment. We seek those who are eager to learn and expand their opportunities through a supportive mentorship.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes

Students will learn about working in an office environment and the profession of law, how to solve problems for clients through investigation, research and strategy. Students will work alongside founding partners practicing for decades, lawyers new to the practice, paralegals who are on the road to law school, and students in law school. The skills learned will provide a base to those applying to law schools and make them more attractive applicants, but will also be transferable to all office professions including business, communications, marketing, real estate and more as our cases touch on a variety of fields.

Opportunity Training

Training is provided in real time as students will work with the legal team as part of the team.
