Opportunity Summary 

Mainly tasked with the solvation of shipped-in compounds for the Biology lab analysis, and collection/analysis of data from liquid chromatography/mass spectrophotometry to ensure accurate and precise data. Often maintaining both Biology and Chemistry laboratories; ordering and replenishing stock shelves/drawers, and cleaning and calibrating laboratory equipment. Additionally, there are opportunities for extending learning with Biologists to gain insight on the work they do and it's importance to the company.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

An understanding and efficiency in a professional laboratory setting. Proficiency in cell culture (splitting cells and insight into calculations). Being able to apply the skills learned (both in operations and with biologists) on-site to future courses and general life.
