Opportunity Summary 

Operant Media, LLC is a marketing and PR agency built on creativity, hustle, and real-world results. If you’re the kind of student who’s obsessed with social media, storytelling, events, and brand culture, this internship is for you. As an intern, you’ll get hands-on experience supporting influencer activations, event production, PR outreach, content planning, and campaign strategy. You won’t be stuck doing “busy work.” You’ll be part of the process, from brainstorming big ideas to helping bring them to life in the real world. You’ll learn how agencies work, how brands show up in the market, and what it takes to execute high-impact experiences that people actually remember. Opportunity Training 

Students will receive structured onboarding and ongoing support to ensure success in their responsibilities. Training will include a 1–2 hour orientation during the first week, covering agency overview, expectations, communication standards, brand/client confidentiality, and an introduction to our workflow and tools (Google Drive, Asana, and social media scheduling). Interns will also receive guided training on key tasks such as content planning, campaign research, influencer/partner outreach basics, event support preparation, and client-ready writing. Ongoing training will be provided through weekly 30–60 minute check-ins, real-time feedback, and task walk-throughs to build confidence and skills over time. Training is designed to be hands-on, with clear examples, templates, and shadowing opportunities as needed.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

This internship is primarily remote and computer-based. If interns attend on-site meetings or support events, tasks may include standing for periods of time, walking, setting up materials, and carrying lightweight supplies (such as marketing collateral, small signage, or tote bags). Interns will not be required to lift heavy boxes or equipment. All on-site duties will be supervised, with clear instructions, appropriate breaks, and a safe working environment. Any heavier lifting or specialized setup will be handled by staff, vendors, or event crew.
