Ballet Folklorico InstructorAt — Mission Vista High School
Mr. Arias has been recently hired to provide instruction for the Mission Vista High School Ballet Folklorico Club and Program. This involves several practices, rehearsals, and performances of Ballet Folklorico to the larger school community.
The Mission Vista HS Ballet Folklorico Club and Program is robust and well-established. As a school, we chose to put Mr. Arias in charge of all future dance instruction with our students to take our program to the next level. Under his guidance, our students will engage in many community performances at the school-level and in the broader VUSD community.
Mr. Arias comes with a wealth of prior knowledge and expertise with Ballet Folklorico, and we are looking to leverage said expertise to further our students' experience and learning within the Ballet Folklorico arena. Site-based teacher advisors will oversee his efforts with the Program and assist him with navigating site and district protocols/precautions to ensure all events and performances are "above board", safe, and lead to student progress in this artform.
