Opportunity Summary 

This opportunity will prepare the student to work in several allied health professions including athletic training and physical therapy as well as others.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

The CSUSM Sports Medicine Internship Program has a strong and consistent history of providing ethical, high quality and progressive health care and prevention to its intercollegiate athletes. CSUSM is providing you with the opportunity to "learn by doing" and observing the skills of a Certified Athletic Trainer. The Sports Medicine Intern must demonstrate a level of professionalism that includes self-discipline and motivation to develop knowledge, skills, and experiences. To be successful the intern must demonstrate dependability, maturity, enthusiasm, organization and have common sense.

Opportunity Training 

Students will participate in a one week boot camp in August. They are not required to be mandated reporters.
