Volunteer Translator At — RO-CO MULTI SERVICES
Our Volunteer Translator opportunity consists of translating written documents from English to Spanish and Spanish to English to support language access within our community. Volunteers will provide accurate and culturally appropriate translations helping ensure that everyone can fully access our services and resources.
By the end of this opportunity student will have learned and have experience on how to accurately translate written documents while maintaining cultural sensitivity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
students will receive training in fundamental translation principles, including accuracy tone, register, and cultural equivalence. The training will cover ethical guidelines such as confidentiality, professionalism, and impartiality when handling sensitive documents.
