Opportunity Summary 

Working on expanding knowledge as an instructor, working with young athletes. Tailoring instructions to small groups, teams, and individually. Learning to adapt to youth's varying learning styles and motivating the youth in a positive manner. Students will be working with youth athletes of all backgrounds, culturally, spiritually, and socioeconomically, covering all of youth K-12 students and seeing how youth athletes work while receiving instruction.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will have learned to provide thoughtful and tailored instruction with teams, small groups, and individually. They will be working with athletes and learning to adapt lesson plans to the time frame given. Students will have seen successes, both big and small, and the overall outcome of working with youth athletes and watching them grow as individuals.

Opportunity Training 

Students will shadow the owner in a mini clinic, small group training, or individual lesson, learn how to create a lesson plan tailored to specific student, and finally put out the lesson plan they created.

Opportunity Application Instructions 

A strong background in baseball or softball is required. Experience working with youth. Ability to adapt and be flexible with learning styles of all youth athletes at facility.
