Alexa's PLAYC InternAt — Rady Children's Hospital (Alexa's PLAYC) - Murrieta
Alexa's PLAYC - We are an early intervention autism preschool located in Murrieta, CA servicing both typically developing children and children at risk for autism or diagnosed with autism. We are a part of the Rady Children's Health organization and have highly training staff that are happy to invite an ECE student intern to observe and participate in the classroom alongside them.
Our program is truly unique and partners with families in the Murrieta/Temecula area to serve students that are ages 18 months - 5 years old. We are a licensed childcare center that offers reserved space for children that are at-risk for autism or have a diagnosed with autism. Our dynamic team consists of highly qualified Preschool Teachers and Registered Behavior Technicians that work collaboratively to create naturalistic learning opportunities that are led through play and the children in our program. We practice neurodiversity affirming care. Interns will learn how our team blends Play Based/Child Led curriculum with naturalistic and developmentally appropriate practices. With daily supervision from the on-site ECE Program Manager and on-site Behavior Specialist, teachers observe, document and expand children's abilities and interests through play.
Mandated Reporter Training is required. We will require all CA Licensing File documents to be completed and live scan on Guardian.
