Brea Museum Visitor Guide and Self-guided TourAt — Brea Historical Society

Opportunity Summary 

Student will develop a visitor guide that can be used for a self-guided tour at the Brea Museum. They will research the current exhibits, write the content, and design the brochure for printing.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Historical research, including primary, secondary, and tertiary source material, writing label copy narrative, designing an attractive and easy to follow guide.

Opportunity Training 

Student selected was a volunteer here before, as such is familiar with our archive, storage, gallery, and facility. We will train her on AI-assisted software to design brochures and guides. We will provide current docent training materials so they will be familiar with current gallery tours.
