Opportunity Learning Outcomes

STUDENT INTERN HAS ALREADY BEEN SELECTED - NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR FALL 2026

Students will become well versed in sustainable living practices related to soil health, water conservation and waste reduction, and in methods for teaching others to adopt these practices in their daily lives.

Opportunity Training

Student will be provided with an orientation as part of their first working session. Most duties do not require specific training, as students are working alongside staff, either shadowing or assisting, and any necessary instruction is provided as the work takes place. Students can take on more responsibility as they gain experience. Some tasks may require instruction in a specific software program (i.e. Constant Contact for newsletters). Again, any training or orientation will be included in each working session.
