Opportunity Summary 

1. Stop pesticides and synthetic turf in parks, schools, cities, & public lands through advocacy and presentations to city councils and school boards. 2. Work on support letters for policies and legislation to protect the environment and public health. 3. Work on interprofessional teams to fulfill the mission of CleanEarth4Kids.org. 4. Work on environmental policy (clean air, clean water, clean soil) to protect wildlife, public lands, and the environment. 5. Work with my peers on a Children’s Activity Calendar

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Develop writing and advocacy skills, including oral communication through presentations, support letters, and public speaking at city councils and school bonds to help fulfill the mission of CleanEarth4Kids.org

Opportunity Training 

The educational director and peers will provide any training necessary. The intern will not be working with minors or other vulnerable populations.
