Health and wellness internAt — EMed Spa
Interns will gain hands-on experience in the health and aesthetic field by learning about different wellness services and treatments, patient consultations, treatment planning, and proper patient education. They will also assist with health and wellness research, patient education materials, wellness programs, and patient outreach, while learning how healthcare providers and staff work together to provide safe and effective patient care.
This opportunity is ideal for students interested in healthcare, nursing, medicine, dermatology, aesthetics, cosmetology, or wellness. Our goal is to provide a supportive and educational environment where students can explore potential career paths, build confidence, expand their knowledge, and gain practical experience that will benefit them in their future academic and professional careers.
Students will also receive hands-on educational training related to their assigned responsibilities, including observing patient consultations, learning about treatment preparation and protocols, understanding medical aesthetic procedures, reviewing documentation practices, and learning appropriate pre- and post-treatment care. All clinical and patient-related activities will be performed under appropriate supervision and within the student's permitted scope of practice. Students will not independently perform injections, administer medications, or perform medical procedures unless specifically authorized, properly trained, and legally permitted to do so.
