We have since become the second largest Y in the nation, touching the lives of nearly 1 out of every 8 community members and 1 out of every 5 children. Our programs and services are diverse but center on three primary focus areas: • Youth Development: Nurturing the potential of every child and teen • Healthy Living: Improving the nation's health and well-being • Social Responsibility: Giving back and providing support to our neighbors The YMCA works to ensure that all individuals have the support they need to be healthy, confident, connected and secure. This begins with our youngest community members as we work with parents, caregivers and child care providers to ensure children, ages 0-5, are growing up in healthy, supportive and safe environments. YMCA Childcare Resource Service (CRS), a department of our Y providing services countywide, opened its doors in 1980 to foster the development of early care and education professionals, educate parents, and help families pay for child care. Since its inception, YMCA CRS has served more than 1 million children and parents throughout San Diego County.

Cheetah Experience is a non profit organisation dedicated to raising awareness of the vulnerability of South African species and other endangered species through educational guided tours for guests, as well as educational experiences for local and international interns and volunteers. At Cheetah Experience, our animals come first, and everything we do is for our animals.
