Opportunity Summary 

Position Description

  • • Coordinate all activities and services 
  • • Develop, present to Tribal Council, and implement sponsorship guidelines
  • • Use best efforts to obtain and increase sponsorship for golf tournaments conducted at the Country Club at Soboba Springs
  • • Solicit sponsorship for events conducted by the Tribe and its entities on an on-going basis, in accordance with priorities established by the Tribal Council
  • • Receive, review, negotiate and make recommendations to Tribal Council regarding all applications for Tribal Sponsorship, grants, awards and other similar monetary or in-kind support. Serve as the primary contact for sponsorship requests
  • • Conduct diligence, as required, to verify the eligibility of sponsorship applicants
  • • Coordinate, schedule and manage special events related to fundraising by the Tribe
  • • Prepare, for Tribal Council review and approval, a standard application for Tribal sponsorship, grants and awards
  • • Attend fundraising events as requested by the Tribe through the Contract Manager
  • • Use best efforts to maximize the benefits that may be obtained from sponsorships, grants and awards given by the Tribe and its enterprises
  • • Prepare and present to the Tribal Council periodic reports regarding sponsorships, grants and awards. The timing and frequency of such reports shall be determined by the Tribal Council
  • • Provide monitoring and follow-up service for incoming and outgoing grants, awards and sponsorships 
  • • Work cooperatively with selected Tribal staff to maximize the exposure, good-will and other benefits accruing to the Tribe from sponsorships, grants and awards given and received 
  • • Provide marketing, promotional, and business enhancement services to the Country Club at Soboba Springs (“Country Club”) through the implementation of the marketing strategies presented by Contractor to Tribal Council on May 1, 2012
  • • Increase Country Club exposure by coordinating sponsorship and marketing activities to the the local community and the Country Club
  • • Provide coordination and co-marketing services and recommendations to the Soboba Casino and Country Club marketing and promotion staffs
  • • Attend local events and serve as Tribal representative on local boards, as requested by Tribal Council
  • • Perform such other related services as may be requested from time-to-time by the Tribal Council

Desired Qualifications

  • High School Diploma 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, 
  • Length of position (Note: A semester is 16 weeks long.) 22 Weeks
