Student InternAt — Chiropractic Rehabilitation Wellness Center

Position Description (e.g. tasks, projects, assignments)

Students will be expected to help with patient rehabilitation. They will work closely with Therapists and therapy Aides with patients throughout the patient's visits, helping take them through their exercises, and watching specific modalities being administered. Students will also be responsible for filing and pulling charts, charting exercises and keeping the gym/therapy area clean.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes

Students will learn about different injuries, the mechanisms behind them and the reasoning for certain treatment plans for each patient. They will occasionally meet with therapists to discuss cases and brainstorm treatment plans as practice.

Desired Qualifications Some anatomy and physiology knowledge preferred.
